Getting Started

npsBench is a customer experience benchmarking platform that helps organizations compare their Net Promoter Score (NPS) with external market benchmarks by industry, country and city. Rather than collecting new survey responses, the platform provides the market context needed to interpret existing NPS results.

Free access lets you explore selected benchmark information, including a benchmark snapshot, a basic company profile and selected market comparisons. You can then unlock additional benchmark data if you need deeper insights.

Benchmark availability depends on the volume and quality of publicly available customer reviews. Some organizations, industries or geographic markets may have limited benchmark information if there is insufficient data to produce reliable comparisons.

Simply search for your organization and open your free benchmark report. When additional benchmark information is available, you'll be able to unlock expanded access through a one-time payment.

Yes. npsBench primarily analyzes publicly available customer reviews and benchmark data. Any personal information associated with your account is stored securely using industry-standard security practices.

Benchmark Methodology

Our benchmarks are derived from large volumes of publicly available customer ratings and reviews from sources such as Google, Tripadvisor and Yelp. The data is aggregated, normalized and analyzed using proprietary processes to produce standardized market benchmarks.

Yes. Depending on your access level, npsBench allows you to explore benchmark data across countries, cities and industries. Comparing markets helps you understand how customer experience performance varies across regions and sectors.

The most meaningful comparisons are made within the same industry and geographic market. Customer expectations vary across sectors and locations, so comparing your NPS with similar organizations provides more relevant context than using a single global benchmark.

Public review data is collected, cleaned, standardized and classified by industry, country and city. A proprietary methodology then transforms these signals into comparable benchmark values that help organizations interpret their own NPS performance.

Customer expectations vary significantly across industries. An excellent benchmark in one sector may represent average performance in another. This is why comparing your NPS with organizations in the same industry is generally the most meaningful approach.

Benchmark data is updated regularly as new public customer reviews become available. Update frequency can vary depending on the industry, location and available data.

Using Your Benchmark Report

Depending on your access level, your report can include benchmark snapshots, market comparisons, historical benchmark trends, industry, country and city comparisons, and visual benchmark analysis.

Benchmarks provide external market context. Rather than evaluating your NPS in isolation, you can compare it with similar organizations operating in the same industry, country or local market to establish more realistic performance targets.
